Giving People's vision is that no child in Sweden should live in exclusion or poverty. It is a relief organisation working to combat economic vulnerability and child poverty in Sweden. Giving People provides urgent help in the form of food and other necessities to families with children across Sweden. Their strength lies in short lead times – they can deliver aid within a few days with the help of donors in their network. In 2024, Din Vinst Redovisning has proudly supported the amazing work that Giving People does. The 16th June is an important day in our industry, as we celebrate Accounting Consultant's day!
The reason is it today is that the 15th June is the last day for submitting declarations for agencies that have requested and been granted agency deferment for their clients. Our agency body, Srf konsulterna, declared this a day of celebration starting in 2021, to recognise all the hard work that accounting consultants do up to this point in the year. We wish our colleagues in the industry a happy and relaxing day! We are very pleased to welcome Julia Axell and Behnam Sofizadeh to our team.
Julia is working with us part-time as an Accounting Assistant while completing a bachelor’s degree in economics at Gävle Högskola. Benham is training with us while he is completing his accountacy qualifications at KYH Yrkeshögskola Norrtälje. Easter opening times:
We are closing at 3pm on Thurday 28th March and are closed on Friday 29th March and Monday 1st April. Happy Easter! Last week Hanna attended a really good course about the accounting rules that housing cooperatives need to follow - 'God redovisningssed i bostadsrättsföreningar'. We help our housing cooperatives clients with financial management and auditing. Housing cooperatives have specific ways of bookkeeping and reporting accounts and it is important to know which general accounting rules apply and how much flexibility one has within the rules. Hanna learned more about documentation that is required by law, like flat register, member register and how to record loans secured on flats. It helps to keep right up-to-date with all the changes in our industry so we can better provide great advice and a great service. If you make an incorrect statement in your tax return, you risk having to pay a tax surcharge. If you do so with will or through gross negligence, you may be liable under the Tax Crimes Act. Did you make a mistake? In this case, make a correction to avoid a problem. You do this by replacing the incorrect declaration with a declaration that has been corrected.
If you discover incorrect vat accounting from previous years, you can correct the VAT report up to six years back. In connection with the financial statements, it is sometimes presented that the VAT report for the year is not correct. It must also be corrected. The Swedish Tax Agency accepts when the corrections for financial statements are made in the tax return for the last accounting period of the year. Need help? Contact us!
